While we have moved our chiccken BBQ down the road across from Benchmark construction, this has been a staple and tremendous event for many years. Thanks to Benchmark and all that serve.
We love circus time. It's a time when kids and families come down to the park to enjoy so many amazing tricks, events, and even animals.
Be sure to check our schedule and bring the family, you will be glad you did.
One of our biggest events of the year is our benefit dinner. Held at the American Legion each year our benefit dinner offers delicious food many times including prime rib or chicken. Many local businesses donate products and services to be auctioned at our blind auction.
EASTER EGG HUNT
What a great turn out we have for our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Hundreds of kids and families show up the Saturday before Easter to grab as many eggs and prizes as possible. The more the better, be sure to put our egg hunt on your calendar.
ANNUAL HALLOWEEN PARADE
Our Halloween Parade is one of the most fun events of the year. Local businesses do a great job with different floats that are part of our parade. Many of the local schools also join with the bands and cheerleaders. Don't forget the hotdogs and long johns donated by Achenbach's.
STUDENT OF THE MONTH
We are so happy to sponsor the Stuent of The Month for Brownstown Elementry. All our students are special but each month we honor one whose accomplishments have gone above and beyond. Keep an eye out for our Student of The Month.
The Pennsylvania Lions' Beacon Lodge Camp is a 583-acre camp for children and adults with special needs including blindness, deafness, and many other physical and mental challenges.
The holidays can be a tough time for some people. Our Lions meet at the park, enjoy some time together, and deliver fruit baskets to people within our community that may just need a smile.
